The 21st DUET Day was celebrated with various ceremonies at the Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) campus located in Shyamatoli, Gazipur, near the capital. On the occasion of University Day, a rally was organized on the campus of DUET on September 1 in the morning. The rally started from the front of the old academic building and went round the various roads of the campus and ended in front of the new administrative building.
A cake was cut in front of the new academic building and DUET Day was announced by Dr. Arefin Kawsar through freeing pigeons. After that, saplings were planted in front of FR Khan Hall.
A cricket match between teachers and students took place at Duet Central Field. In the afternoon, the teachers visited the stalls of various DUET clubs. At the stall, various clubs of DUET showcased their year-round activities.
In the evening, a delightful cultural program was held at the Shahid Ahsanullah Master Auditorium of DUET. The Duet Debating Society and Srijani participated in the performance with vocalist Abu Ubaydah.
