Cyber Security Awareness Day will be celebrated on Saturday at the Daffodil International University campus in Ashulia with more than three hundred participants from various universities and polytechnics of the country and government and private institutions in collaboration with the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission. As part of the Cyber Security Awareness Program going on throughout the month of October across the world, the day-long workshop will have 6 plenary sessions, workshops, Capture the Flag, Project Exhibition and Google Hacking Program.
That is what was informed at the press conference held at Daffodil Plaza 71 auditorium on Dhanmondi Mirpur Road in the capital on Friday. The convener of the event and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology of Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Syed Akhtar Hossain and Co-Convener Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Director General (Systems and Services Brigadier General Mohammad Khalil-ur-Rahman.

BTRC Chairman Shyam Sundar Sikdar will inaugurate the day-long program. DIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman will preside. Highlighting the program of this day-long event, it was informed in the press conference that the technical session entitled “Protect your mobile from hackers” will present the main article, Senior Manager of Cash, NMI Raisul Bari; Code Vulnerability and Compromised Software Quality – A Major Security Threat.” Samsung’s R&D Institute Bangladesh Senior Chief Engineer A.J.M. will be the main speaker in the technical session. Director General of BTRC Brigadier General Mohammad Khalil-ur-Rehman will be present as a panelist and co-chairman in two sessions during the day-long event. Commissioner Syed Dilzar Hussain and Engineer. Sheikh Riaz Ahmed will attend various sessions of BTRC CSAD 2023. At the same time, BTRC Director Lt. Col.
