Banglalink has achieved a significant milestone in its ongoing network expansion program by increasing the total number of towers across the country to 15,000. Of these, more than 4,700 towers have been activated in the last one-and-a-half years.
Banglalink’s 4G network coverage has been significantly expanded due to this initiative. As a result of this expansion, the number of data subscribers of Banglalink has increased by 66 percent. This is a special step in ensuring the fastest 4G coverage on Banglalink’s network, recognized by Okla 7 times in a row.
The number of subscribers of Banglalink reached 4 crore 2 lakh 85 thousand at the end of September 2023 after increasing continuously. Banglalink has maintained its position in terms of network speed and quality by winning Okla Speed Test Award for 7 consecutive times. Banglalink has also upgraded more than 10,500 sites with advanced technical equipment to ensure maximum network quality.
These include sites using L900, L1800, and L2300 spectrum, which ensures better voice and data quality for Banglalink customers. Banglalink is grateful to tower companies, Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN) operators and other service providers for this achievement.
