‘Honor’, which once debuted as a sub-brand of Huawei, wants to re-enter the Bangladesh market in the service of domestic IT giant Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd. The Chinese company started this new caravan with the Honor 90 AI handset at Hotel Radisson Blu Garden in the capital on Sunday through tech tubers and influencers.
The phone was inaugurated by Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Start Technologies Limited and Guo Lai, Country Director of Honor Bangladesh. And through this, Honor came to this distribute channel with after-sales service.

Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Business of Honor Bangladesh, said that the phone will be available in the market from November. However, it can be pre-booked from October 17 for Tk. 56,999 and a neck band gift is also available.
Honor Bangladesh GTM Manager Shubhankar Goldar, Sales Manager Touhidur Rahman Influencer Soumi, Raba, Razia, Faria, YouTuber Sohag, Tushar, Photographer Kaushik Iqbal and others were present.
Media workers Ashraful Islam Rana, Shafiqul Alam Khan, Shekhar Roy won the honor phones in the AI raffle draw at the event.
YouTubers said at the event that Honor’s user interface is very user-friendly with a central R&D and software team and service is not as expected in its prior model. However, hardware design is quite durable. And the influencers check the beauty of the phone by taking a selfie. The photographer said in his one-day experience that he liked the pro feature very much.
Earlier in the opening speech, the Managing Director of Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, Mohammad Zahirul Islam, said that Honor 90 smartphone was launched in the country today. After separating from Huawei in 2020, Honor grabbed the number 1 market share in the China market in 2023 by marketing innovative technology smartphones. Honor all budget official products will be available in Bangladesh market very soon.
