The 6-day long City IT Mega Fair-2023 is going on at BCS Computer City at Agargaon in the capital with the collection of new approved technology products including updated version computers, laptops, printers, monitors and CC cameras. On the third day of the fair, which started with the slogan ‘Technology- Highway to Smart Bangladesh’, young people collected offer leaflets and bought laptops, monitors and LED TVs to get gifts. Not just laptops; Many people are visiting this shop and that to buy technical service accessories through scratch cards with discounts. Some are again rushing to experience gaming live.
At the fair, the number of laptops attracted the most interest of the visitors. Meanwhile, a number of gamers were seen around the new two gaming laptops of the MSI brand Stealth series to inquire about the offer. Gaming chairs along with laptops are offered at the MSI Pavilion. Apart from MSI desktops, monitors are being discounted up to Tk 10,000. Mouse-keyboard and headphones are being gifted along with the motherboard.
Interest in the new Asus ZenBook S13 OLED model laptop was also noticeable.
The sellers said that HP has brought two laptops running on CoreI9 processors. It includes Nvidia’s new 4000 series graphics card. With a discount of 5 thousand taka, the price of the laptops is 3 lakh 45 thousand taka and 3 lakh 99 thousand taka respectively. And the thirteenth generation Asus Zenbook S13 OLED model laptop is being given 2 thousand 500 taka from the market price.
In addition, Lenovo is giving prizes for buying any model of laptop at the fair. HP is installing an updated version of the original Windows operating system as a reward with any model of laptop. Apart from this, the company is also offering free repair of all old models of HP laptops.
AL Mazhar Imam Chowdhury, President of BCS Computer City, said that various world famous brands have participated in this year’s fair. Besides, there are attractive discounts and rewards for buying any approved product. Besides shopping discounts, gaming competition, PC Battle Show, Laptop Battle Show, and Facebook Reel Competition have been organized for the visitors at this fair. Along with that there is a drawing competition. The fair premises will be open daily from 10 am to 8 pm. The fair will continue till October 7.
Mohammad Zaheed Ali Bhuiyan, convener of City IT Mega Fair, hopes that the traffic of buyers and visitors will increase in this fair due to the launch of Metrorail. In addition, this year’s City IT Mega Fair has a sponsor organization pavilion. Apart from sponsor organization pavilions, the fair also has participant stalls. The fair has world renowned brands like Asus, Dahua, Epson, HP, Hikvision, Infinix, Lenovo and MSI as sponsors. 160 companies along with sponsoring companies are also exhibiting the latest technology products in the fair.
