Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government wants to build a discrimination-free and inclusive smart society by 2041. A society where every citizen will be Bangabandhu’s golden citizen who will be a problem solving progressive, innovative and creative patriotic. In this society, the government will be in the hands of the people. All transactions and exchanges will be paperless.
Smart Bangladesh Summit to be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on October 5-7 will highlight the issues of Smart Bangladesh. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that the planning and implementation work will be carried out under the leadership of 15 ministers.
This is what the state minister has highlighted while speaking as the chief guest at the sponsor night of Smart Bangladesh Summit 2023 on Thursday night.
He said, in the next few days, we will open a pregnancy monitoring software. Under the direction of the Prime Minister, remote digital devices will be delivered to 14 thousand community health centers of the country with high speed internet connection. Through telemedicine services; they will be given modern health services like in the capital while staying in villages.

Palak also said that, “Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wanted to create a new economic model centered on our art, literature, culture and soil and people. The Golden Bangla of Bangabandhu’s dream and that economic model is the ‘Smart Bangladesh: Vision 2041’ of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Its 4 main pillars will be Smart Citizen, Smart Economy, Smart Society and Smart Government. Where the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to create a non-discriminatory and inclusive society by ensuring the best use of technology. Our economy will be cashless; Government system will be paperless and automated. Citizens will not have to go to any office to get any government service, the government will be in the hands of the people. Our future smart Bangladesh government will be transparent, accountable and technology-based; Smart government will be there wherever and whenever it is needed.”
