India’s rover ‘Pragyan’ has discovered sulfur at the South Pole of the Moon. According to ISRO, apart from Sulphur, aluminum, calcium, iron, chromium, titanium, manganese, silicon, oxygen have also been found in the south pole of the moon.
ISRO started work on Chandrayaan-3 immediately after the failure of Chandrayaan-2 in 2019. Then on July 16 it was launched towards the moon. After about 40 days, Chandrayaan-3’s lander Vikram started landing on the moon at 6:30 pm local time on August 23. Since then, ISRO has been giving various updates about the movements and activities of Vikram and Pragyan on the moon almost every day on Twitter.
In a message, ISRO said that rover Pragyan and lander Vikram are working properly. The rover continues to solve the mystery of the moon’s south-pole. Communication between Vikram and Pragyan is also fine.
