Saudi Arabia is going to launch Nusuk platform in Dhaka for Umrah pilgrims of Bangladesh. The platform will be launched next Thursday (August 24). News Time TV.
According to Arab News, a Saudi delegation headed by Saudi Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabia will stay in Dhaka on August 24 and 25. At this time they will inaugurate the Nusuk platform.
On Monday (August 21), Nusuk President of Asia Pacific Market, Alhassan Aldabbagh, said that for the convenience of Umrah pilgrims and tourists from Bangladesh, Nusuk Roadshow has been organized for the first time in Dhaka. The main objective of this roadshow is to launch the Nusuk platform in this country. Because Bangladesh is a very important market for Saudi Arabia.
Aldabbagh said, ‘This Saudi online platform acts as a digital passport, which will make the journey of Umrah pilgrims easier. Saudi Arabia has welcomed about 332,000 tourists from Bangladesh so far this year. Which is 7 percent more than the target of this Middle Eastern country so far.
He also said, ‘Saudi Arabia is ready to welcome 7 lakh Bangladeshis this year. And in 2030 this number will reach 26 lakh.
It may be noted that at the beginning of this year, the Saudi Tourism Authority launched the Nusuk platform in Malaysia and Singapore.
