Grameenphone has launched a state-of-the-art service kiosk at the Departure Lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to provide customer service even before leaving the country with roaming facilities. Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Mohammad Sajjad Hasib, Chief Business Officer Dr. Asif Naimur Rashid and Awlad Hossain, Head of Sales and Customer Management of the company were present at the Kiosk opening ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Mohammad Sajjad Hasib said, “We are delighted to launch our first new service kiosk at the departure lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. This is a reflection of our commitment to adopt a ‘customer-first’ strategy, which ensures that our customers can more easily access timely digital services across the country and improve their service experience.”
He further said, “Grameenphone customers who are traveling outside the country will be provided services related to connectivity and digital services through this state-of-the-art service kiosk. As a connectivity partner, we are taking all the necessary initiatives beyond traditional telecommunication services, so that we can actively contribute to achieving the goal of Smart Bangladesh; because we believe now is the time to move on. That’s why we have opened this service kiosk in the departure lounge and from this kiosk our customers can avail the service as per their requirement conveniently.”
Soon after the unveiling, the service from the kiosk started. Grameenphone customers who are going to work or travel outside the country can activate the roaming service from this kiosk. Also, Roaming as a service has been included in MyGP and now customers can avail this service anytime.
