The ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that, ‘AI is my daily companion nowadays’. It bridges my linguistic gap.
This is what the State Minister conveyed at the opening ceremony of the two-day BPO Bangladesh Conference which started at the Ruposhi Bangla Grand Ballroom of Hotel InterContinental in the capital on Saturday. In this regard, Palak expressed the government’s acceptance in combining artificial intelligence with natural intelligence.
He said, we are ensuring action-oriented education from charters to create smart citizens to implement Vision 2041. Government is now creating problem solvers by teaching coding in elementary levels.
The state minister also said that there is no alternative to smart employment to build a future smart economy. For this, it has started developing 1 lakh skilled workers in future technologies like cyber security, chip designing, blockchain, AI and so on. The Internet has paved the highway. The electricity problem has also been resolved. As a result, 2 million jobs have been made possible in the BPO sector. In the last 5-10 years, it is becoming possible to earn a large amount of export income from as many hi-tech and software parks as possible. Now 57 universities of the country have taken the initiative to create research and innovation labs. I can confirm 1 lakh 9 thousand broadband internet connection through ISPAB immediately.
