The board meeting of Robi Axiata Limited, a company listed in the capital market, will be held on May 8. Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) informed that the meeting will take place on that day at 2:30 pm.
According to sources, the meeting will review the financial report of the company for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. The company will publish the report if the board members approve it.
It may be noted that, at the end of last year, Robi Axiata earned Taka 8 thousand 586 crore. Compared to the previous year, there has been a growth of 5 and a half percent. Despite this growth in revenue, it did not make much profit. Profits have grown by one and a half percent. After deducting all expenses and taxes from the company’s income, what is left is the actual profit of the company.
Despite the increase in profit and dividend, Robi Axiata’s share price in the stock market is stuck at the minimum price level or floor price. Currently, the market price of the company’s shares is Taka 30. Shares of Robi Axiata, the country’s second largest mobile company, have been stuck at this price since August last year.
