The Internet service providers celebrated the longest fasting in the country’s history. It started from Tuesday afternoon and lasted until Wednesday morning. After holding the Annual General Meeting of ISPAB followed by Iftar and dinner at the Army Golf Club in the capital, the tech- business people and stakeholders gathered at the Sehri event at the Moghbazar Convention Center.
The ISPAB president Imdadul Haque was present as the chief guest at the pre Sehri discussion meeting whiletheevent was presided over by the IT Polli President Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan organized by IT Polli. The ISPAB Senior Vice President Saiful Islam Siddique, Iqbal Bahar, Founder of A Story to Tell Foundation and Ahmed Junaid, Secretary General of IIG Forum were present as special guests.
The IT Polli General Secretary Ohid Ullah Swapan welcomed the guests on the occasion.
Speakers in the event said that if we work together, we can easily provide broadband services to 180 million people in a healthy and beautiful environment. In this regard, they opined that direct government financial sponsorship in the ISP sector for the empowerment of grassroot Internet traders will accelerate the implementation of Smart Bangladesh.
