এবারের নির্বাচনে সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে প্রতিদ্বন্ধিতা করছেন যন্ত্রকৌশল বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. মো. আরাফাত রহমান, পুরকৌশল বিভাগের অধ্যাপক ড. মো. বশির জিসান ও পেট্রোলিয়াম অ্যান্ড মাইনিং ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের সহযোগী অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ ইসলাম মিয়া।
