Highest transactions made in 4 years in local currency but decreased in foreign currency on cards

Although the transaction in local currency boomed a record, the number of card transactions in foreign currency decreased substantially. In addition to the increase in the number of bank cards, in January this year, the highest transaction in the last four years was Tk. 39 thousand 757 crores. At the same time, the foreign currency transaction through the card was Tk. 620 crore. Which is 19 crore less than the previous month of December. Card-based foreign exchange transactions of Tk. 639 crore were done in December.
