For the second time, science related event STEM Fest was held at International Hope School in Uttara of the capital. In this event, 250 students from sixth to twelfth classes showcased 75 projects rich in modern technology including robotics, physics, and chemistry.
Among the projects, there were; Security Drone, AT drone controller, receiver, motor and Wi-Fi camera. Robotic Arm, The Circuit Pizza, Remote Control Car, Self Balancing Remote, Smart Robots, Paper Recycle Machine and various cutting-edge projects were also on display.
The Science and Technology Affairs Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman inaugurated the STEM Fest at 10 am on Sunday (February 5). School Chairman Abdul Aziz Jaldoshov and Principal Roksana Zarin delivered welcome speech. Along with scientific discussions and exhibitions, cultural performances were also held.
75 technology-based projects were displayed in the school grounds from 9:30 am. This year, the competition was held in three categories.
Gifts were given to all participating students. Everyone got a notebook, key ring, pen, cap and food. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners.
