Professor Dr. Mushfiq Mannan Chowdhury of Management Department of Dhaka University has been appointed as the new Commissioner of BTRC. He has been appointed to the post of Business-Commercial or Finance or Management or Administration of BTRC for the next three years.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Sunday to confirm this appointment. In the notification, Mushfiq Mannan Chowdhury, the new commissioner of BTRC, has been given a condition to renounce his relations with other institutions and organizations as usual before joining the job.
Dr. Mushfique Mannan Chowdhury is a well-known face for his research on social media and marketing. He is the son of Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, the Vice-chancellor of World University and one of the founders of the Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee.
