Samsung Electronics has been hacked by a foreign group. It is feared that their confidential source code and other important data have been leaked. South Korea-based news agency Yonhap reported the information citing close sources.
Lapsus claims to have hacked Samsung’s system. The data-smuggling group claims to have released about 190 gigabytes of data and source code online.
The seized data was uploaded via torrent, informed Lapsus. Samsung, on the other hand, has said it will look into the matter.
On the other hand, in the ongoing geopolitical situation, Samsung has announced to stop exporting goods to Russia. The South Korean technology giant also recently announced 6 million in aid to Ukraine.
