Facebook-owned company Meta Platforms Inc. is in the final stages of acquiring Greek audio software startup Accusonus. Reuters quoted sources close to the matter as saying.
A Facebook spokesman did not comment over the matter. However, sources said that the announcement of the acquisition may come in the next few days.
In an email, a Facebook spokesperson said: We do not comment on any rumors or ideas. The representative of Accusonus did not comment on the matter.
This is going to be the second largest deal for the Greek startups this year. Earlier, JPMorgan bought a 49% stake in Athens-based payment fintech Viva Wallet. It is currently awaiting regulatory approval.
