From now on, bKash, a mobile financial service provider, will distribute scholarships, grants, honorariums and other allowances to the beneficiaries of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust under the Ministry of Religion.
An agreement in this regard was signed between bKash and Hindu Religious Welfare Trust at the bKash head office on Wednesday. Secretary of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Dr. Dilip Kumar Ghosh and Chief Commercial Officer of bKash Ali Ahmed were present on the occasion. Rajendra Chandra Debnath, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Nantu Roy, Rekha Rani Gun and Ranjit Kumar, the project director, and Masroor Chowdhury, the head of the government’s partnership at bKash were also present at that time.
As a result of this agreement, all kinds of allowances including scholarships and grants of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust will reach the development account of the beneficiaries very easily, without any hassle and delay. Beneficiaries do not have to bear any fee to cash out this money. In addition, from the bKash account, the beneficiaries will be able to use various services including send money, cash out, mobile recharge, bill payment of all kinds of services, purchase payment.
