Law enforcement, intelligence agencies and investigative agencies are struggling with technology. In such a situation, Brigadier General Ziaul Ahsan, Director of the National Telecommunication Monitoring Center (NTMC), has emphasized increasing the technological power to keep pace with the current world.
He said that in line with technology, criminals are constantly changing the type and medium of crime. As a result, law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and investigative agencies are struggling to keep up with the current state of technology. If we can’t use technological advances for this, then crime will increase. Crime control needs to increase technological power in line with the current world.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the ‘RAB’s Technological Modernization’ program at the RAB headquarters on Tuesday (October 19), he also advised to be vigilant about information retention and security in the technology world.
According to the NTMC Director, the NTMC has already set up an Integrated Solutions Framework to expand the optimal and overall use of information technology to all RAB battalions and camp levels, through which information can be provided to all government agencies besides law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies and investigative agencies.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was present as the chief guest at the function presided over by RAB Director General (DG) Additional IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun. Md. Moinur Rahman Chowdhury and Additional Director General (ADG Operations) Colonel KM Azad were also present in the program.
