Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “I took a far-reaching plan by adopting Vision 2021. Later, this plan was extended till 2041.” The digital system is being implemented to ensure land service at finger-tip so that people do not have to suffer harassment or go from one door to another.
The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating the land building of the land ministry, land office building of Upazila and union, online land development tax payment activities and land data bank at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Wednesday morning.
The Prime Minister was the chief guest at the event via video conference.
The head of government said the government is working towards the goal of fully digitizing the land system by completing 100 percent mutations by 2041. Because people should not be victims of harassment.
He added that digital technology is being used in all areas of land services. In recognition of the implementation of e-mutation, the Ministry of Land has received the United Nation’s Public Service Award 2020. This recognition has made the conviction of building a digital Bangladesh more dynamic. Bangladesh’s status in the world has also uplifted.
