They may also need to show positive antibody test results to take part in this event. However, the CTA is still reviewing the matter.
CTA chief Gary Shapiro said current scientific assessments have shown that the most hopeful way to survive Covid-19 is to get vaccinated. Delta variants of the SARS-Cove-2 virus are spreading easily and the rate of infection is relatively high among people who have not been vaccinated.
However, it was not mentioned which vaccine would be given. The CTA said all vaccines would be accepted in accordance with the CDC’s recommendations, including country and local guidelines.
