Strict lockdown is going on in the country to save people from the Coronavirus and stop the spread of the pandemic. During the lockdown, 56,942 hits are being made every minute in the Movement Pass app launched by the Bangladesh Police for traffic control and emergency transportation.
AIG Mohammad Sohel Rana, the public relations department of the police headquarters informed Digibangla that the app was launched on April 13 (Tuesday) at 11 am. Since then today (Thursday) 9 o’clock in the morning in 48 hours 15 crore 99 lakh 22 thousand 85 hits have been made in the app. That means 56 thousand 942 hits are being made every minute.
Within 48 hours of launching the app, a total of 4 lakh 96 people have applied for the movement pass. After analyzing the data from there, 3 lakh 18 thousand 601 people have been issued for movement pass, said Sohel Rana.
Movement passes are not required for individuals and organizations exempt from lockdown restrictions. You can discharge your duties only by showing your identity card.
