City University celebrated the CSE Festival with Math Olympiad, IT quiz, programming contests and innovation competitions.
The seven-day inter-university competition concluded on Saturday (March 20) with an online closing ceremony organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) to mark the 19th anniversary of the university.
City University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Shah-e-Alam was the chief guest in this event while Dr. R. Badlishah Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, University of Malaysia Perlis was connected in online as an international guest.
The results of the Inter-University Programming Contest were announced by Dr. Muhammad Kaikobad, Honorary Professor, CSE Department, BRAC University.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) General Secretary Munir Hasan announced the results of the Math Olympiad.
The results of the Cyber Security Contest and IDEA, Innovation contest were announced by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sharif Uddin, President, Bangladesh Computer Society.
And the results of the IT Olympiad were announced by Professor Dr. Selia Shahnaz, Chair, IEE Bangladesh, BUET.
Prof. Mustafizur Rahman, Pro VC, City University and Dr. Md. Lutfar Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, addressed the closing ceremony chaired by Safaet Hossain, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, City University.
