eDOTCO Bangladesh has inaugurated a 5G-ready Tower Operation Center (TOC) in Dhaka, aiming to enhance the efficiency of telecom tower operations, ensure seamless network connectivity, and improve energy management. The center will function as a real-time monitoring hub for telecom towers across the country, the telecom infrastructure service provider stated.
The TOC, located at eDOTCO’s Gulshan office, was inaugurated by Major General Md. Emdad Ul Bari, Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC); Malaysian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Mohammad Shuhaida Osman; and eDOTCO Bangladesh’s Country Managing Director Sunil Isaac.
During the event, it was highlighted that eDOTCO Bangladesh, a subsidiary of the Malaysia-based eDOTCO Group, has implemented sustainable technologies such as bamboo towers and hybrid solar-wind solutions. Ranked as the world’s sixth-largest telecom tower company, eDOTCO continues to lead in sustainable infrastructure and connectivity solutions, reflecting its commitment to supporting the nation’s technological ambitions.
