During the test, KUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Masood and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Shariful Alam visited various exam centers.
Explaining the decision to conduct the test earlier, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Masood said, “Our priority is to hold the exams early so that we can begin classes ahead of others. This is aimed at reducing session backlogs caused by COVID-19 and other challenges in previous years. We are striving to regularize the academic calendar, and we expect the students who enroll to support us by attending classes on time.”
He added, “Over the past four years, we conducted joint admission tests with two other universities. This year, we are back to conducting the test independently, and we’ve seen the highest-ever number of candidates in KUET’s history. I believe the students have participated smoothly. With centers spread across Khulna city, congestion was minimized, and though there were minor challenges, they were manageable. The cooperation from our faculty members, including staying up late to ensure question papers were prepared and delivered on time, has been remarkable.”
Expressing satisfaction with the peaceful and organized execution of the admission test, the Vice-Chancellor commended the efforts of all involved.
Admission Test Committee Chair Professor Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam and other officials overseeing the examination were also present during the event.
