To showcase global technologies in the ready-made garments (RMG) sector, the 22nd edition of “Garments Technology Exhibition Bangladesh (GTB-2025)” and the 14th edition of “GAPEXPO 2025” are set to commence in the capital on Wednesday, January 8. The four-day exhibition will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) and will run until January 11. Spread across eight halls of the ICCB, the event will host 500 exhibitors from 25 countries.
The inauguration ceremony of the exhibition will take place on January 8 at 11:00 AM on the mezzanine floor of Hall 4 in the ICCB. Sheikh Bashiruddin, Advisor to the Interim Government’s Ministry of Commerce, Textiles, and Jute, along with Korean Ambassador Young-Sik and other industry leaders, will attend as chief guests.
During a press conference held at the exhibition venue on Sunday, Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., the organizer of the event, shared these details. He stated that decision-makers, technology heads, and sourcing team members from various companies will participate in the GTB and GAPEXPO fairs. The exhibition will feature trade source technologies, machinery, garment accessories, packaging, allied products, and spare parts used across the country.
The event, jointly organized by the Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) and ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., aims to showcase the latest machinery, garments accessories, and packaging products to apparel manufacturers.
