One of the Indian subcontinent’s oldest educational institutions, Dhaka College, held a reunion of its Management Department on December 20. The event brought together nearly 1,500 former students and their families. Smart Technologies (BD) Limited participated in the event as a sponsor.
As part of the celebration, Smart Technologies organized a product exhibition featuring advanced information technology products. Their pavilion showcased globally renowned networking brand Netis, Smart laptops, and Edifier products. Among the items displayed, various models of Netis routers attracted significant attention.
The primary highlight of the exhibit was the newly launched Netis NC63 dual-band router, now available in the Bangladeshi market. Smart Technologies also displayed their proprietary Smart laptops, offered at a price of BDT 28,000 with a two-year warranty. This affordable price point delighted the alumni.
Additionally, Edifier, a popular audio system brand, displayed an array of attractive speakers. One standout feature was the Edifier Karao Break X2 speaker, which allowed attendees to use its karaoke feature to perform songs, evoking fond memories of their student days.
Another key attraction was the HP printer’s 360-degree photo booth. Alumni flocked to this area, capturing photos and reliving their youth with childlike joy.
Representatives from Smart Technologies expressed their optimism about supporting similar initiatives in the future, aiming to spread technological knowledge across various educational institutions.
