Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has announced the application deadline for the 2024-2025 academic session, which will be just 11 days long. Applications will be accepted online from 10:00 AM on January 4, 2025, to 11:59 PM on January 14, 2025.
According to the notification published on RUET’s website, applicants for the BSc Engineering, BURP, and BArch courses must take part in a pre-selection MCQ exam. The exam will be held on February 8, 2025. Some departments will also require a written selection exam, which is scheduled for February 20, 2025.
The application fee for all departments, except Architecture, is BDT 1,250, while the fee for the Architecture department is BDT 1,450. The deadline for submitting the application fee is 5:00 PM on January 15, 2025.
Applicants will have to take a 100-mark MCQ exam, which will last one hour. Additionally, they will be required to sit for a 350-mark written selection exam lasting two hours. Applicants to the Architecture department will also need to take an additional one-hour 100-mark freehand drawing exam. The total number of seats available at RUET is 1,235.
