Television news anchor Lauren Sanchez, 55, is set to marry Amazon founder and one of the world’s richest individuals, Jeff Bezos, 60. The couple is planning to hold their wedding in Aspen, Colorado, shortly after Christmas, as reported by the British tabloid Daily Mail.
The couple has reserved a sushi restaurant, Matsushia, for two days, December 26 and 27. The main wedding ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 28.
According to sources close to the couple, Bezos arrived in Aspen by private jet with his companions and will hold the ceremony at actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner’s 160-acre ranch, Dunbar Ranch. The wedding is reported to cost a staggering $600 million.
However, neither Bezos nor Sanchez have disclosed any specific details about the wedding plans yet.
Bezos’ marriage to Sanchez follows the end of his 25-year marriage to his former wife, MacKenzie, which ended in mid-2019 after details of his romance with Sanchez became public. In their divorce, Bezos had to pay approximately $38 billion.
