Recently, several key figures have resigned from OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. Now, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mira Murati has announced her departure from the company, according to The Guardian.
Mira, who has served at the AI startup for almost six and a half years, shared her resignation through a note and a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
In her announcement, Mira said, “I have resigned to create time and space for my own explorations.”
Just hours after Murati’s announcement, OpenAI’s Chief Research Officer Bob McGrew and Vice President of Research Barrett Zopf also revealed their decisions to step down.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman responded positively to Murati’s resignation, acknowledging her contributions.
