Content creation is a very popular topic in social media these days. Many people can’t do well in content creation because they don’t know how to do it despite their desire. For this purpose, MFS service provider Nagad Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bangladesh University of Professional (BUP).
Nagad and BUP recently signed a memorandum of understanding at the BUP campus. The MoU was signed on behalf of BUP by the chairperson of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism Lt. Colonel Masudur Rahman Khan and Executive Vice President Mohammad Solaiman signed on behalf of Nagad. At this time, Naqad’s Head of Marketing Strategy and Planning Mansurul Aziz, Senior Manager Ariful Islam, Assistant Manager Tanha Wahid Adrita and senior officials of both organizations were present.
As a result, content creation course will be launched in journalism department of BUP from this month. For this, interested students have to go to the website of the institution and fill the required form and apply with a fee of Tk. 510. After that the students will be admitted after the rest of the process and formalities as per the institutional rules of BUP. Students can also pay the admission fee instantly through Nagad.
Students who are successfully admitted to this course will get a scholarship. Students who do well in this course will have the opportunity to participate in the first-ever Nagad funded ‘Creatorship’ internship. The course will be conducted by teachers and various skilled professionals from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of BUP. Students can apply for admission in this course till July 30.
Nagad’s Executive Vice President Mohammad Solaiman said about the agreement with BUP, ‘Nagad has been working on all the innovative ideas starting from the technical side. Due to which we are launching this course jointly with BUP for those who are interested to know better about content creation in countries like various universities outside the country. Hope students will benefit from this and will be able to create quality content.’
Regarding the agreement, the chairperson of the mass communication and journalism department of BUP Lt. Colonel Masudur Rahman Khan said, ‘BUP and Nagad are bringing such a course on content creation for the first time in the country. In this course, students can learn quality content creation through the best professionals and experienced people of the country every Friday and Saturday using the latest media lab.’
