The opening ceremony of the 45th 2-day long National Science and Technology Fair organized by Dhunot Upazila Administration of Bogura has been held on Tuesday, January 30 at 10 am in Dhunot Govt. Naeem Uddin Model Pilot High School ground premises.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Abdul Hai Khokon spoke as the chief guest at the opening Ceremony chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ashiq Khan. Upazila Awami League President Professor TIM Nurunnabi Tariq, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nurul Amin spoke at the event as special guests.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ekramul Haque Sarkar, Dhunot Government Naeem Uddin Model Pilot High School (Acting) Principal Tafiz Uddin, Assistant Teacher Ujjal Kumar spoke at the event. Assistant Teacher Ashu Tosh Babu recited from the Gita while Maulana Mizanur Rahman recited from the Quran.
National science and technology fair has been held in this upazila in the financial year 2023-2024 like every year for keeping the students involved in science and technical knowledge in the Upazila. In the fair, 21 stalls were allocated among various educational institutions.
