The stakeholders emphasized the importance of setting up a regional knowledge hub with updated data and case studies on climate change, preventing dual use and fragmentation of natural resources, building electric power transmission grid through regional partnerships and collecting funding at the government level to create a fund to compensate the loss of natural disasters.
On the second day of the first Regional Climate Summit 2023 held in Dhaka on Saturday, the speakers gave such suggestions at the seminar entitled Parliament in Action for Climate Action. The keynote speech was presented in the seminar by Chairman of the Parliament of Bangladesh, Tanveer Shakeel Joy.
