Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company now has 2.35 billion active users worldwide, marking a new milestone in its history. In the latest earnings report, Cook highlighted that Cupertino recorded its most successful quarterly performance ever. He specifically credited Apple Intelligence, powered by Apple’s proprietary chips, as a key driver of this success, according to GSM Arena.
However, the report also indicated that iPhone sales declined by 1% year-over-year, suggesting that Apple Intelligence has not yet had a significant impact on boosting sales as initially expected.
Despite this, the 2.35 billion active users represent Apple’s highest user base to date. In 2024, the company had 2.2 billion users, which was 400 million more than in 2022. With 150 million new users added this year, Apple continues to expand its global user base at a rapid pace.
