Global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky has introduced a new “Threat Landscape” section within its Threat Intelligence Portal, enabling businesses to access real-time updates on the latest cyber threats and attacks. This feature provides organizations with up-to-date information on potential attackers, attack methods, and types of malware involved.
According to a press release issued Wednesday, Kaspersky’s Threat Intelligence Portfolio already includes comprehensive security tools such as threat analysis, lookup, data feeds, reporting, digital footprint intelligence, and infrastructure tracking. The new Threat Landscape section leverages MITRE ATT&CK to offer detailed data on attacks based on geography, industry, platform, actor profile, software, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). This data aims to support organizations in identifying threats proactively and taking effective measures to safeguard their operations.
Anatoly Simonenko, Head of Technology Solutions Product Line at Kaspersky, stated, “With our extensive expertise in cyber threat research, Kaspersky is pleased to share these insights with our customers. By understanding attack patterns and strategies, we can help protect assets and IT systems before cyber issues arise. The new feature in our Threat Intelligence Portal aids in crafting effective cybersecurity strategies, identifying security gaps before attackers can exploit them.”
