Apple has introduced its latest 24-inch iMac powered by the next-generation M4 chip, featuring a Retina display. Alongside the new iMac, Apple also unveiled a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and a Magic Trackpad with USB-C ports.
Following last year’s release of the M3 iMac, the new M4 iMac will be available in seven vibrant colors starting from November 8. It comes equipped with a 4.5K Retina display (4,480 x 2,250 pixels) and an upgraded 12-megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording 1080p video.
The M4 chip, built using TSMC’s 3-nanometer technology, will be available in options with either an 8-core CPU and GPU or a 10-core CPU and GPU. RAM can be configured up to 32GB, and internal storage is expandable up to 2TB. The device also includes a 16-core Neural Engine for enhanced AI support.
For connectivity, the iMac offers essential ports and includes six speakers. Pre-orders have already begun, with prices ranging from $1,299 to $1,699, depending on the configuration.
