Social media platform Bluesky, emerging as a competitor to X (formerly Twitter) and Meta’s Threads, has shown impressive user growth over the past few months, adding 50 million users in just one week.
Last Thursday, Bluesky shared updates on its platform’s new user numbers and revenue, along with plans to launch a paid subscription option. Despite this, the platform emphasized it will remain free to use.
With the new subscription, users can upload longer videos and personalize their profiles with themes and avatar frames. However, paid subscribers won’t have significant additional privileges beyond these features compared to free users.
