Audio streaming platform Spotify has returned to normal operations after experiencing an outage lasting nearly three hours. According to Downdetector.com, the outage affected more than 40,000 users in the United States, as reported by Reuters.
Although the majority of users can now access the platform, some continue to experience difficulties.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Spotify stated, “Everything seems to be back to normal now.”
The company has not yet provided an explanation for the cause of the outage.
As of the second quarter, Spotify’s subscriber base has exceeded 246 million.
