The world’s first 3D-printed hotel named El Cosmico has come to existence in the Texas desert. Reports Reuters.
The report states that El Cosmico is not entirely a new one. Rather the old hotel is being newly developed with 43 units and 18 residential homes. The infrastructure of this 40-acre property has been constructed using 3D printers.
Texas-based 3D printing company ICON and the architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group are behind this project, according to El Cosmico’s owner, Liz Lambert.
Lambert stated that technology has helped turn unprecedented creativity into reality.
