Some users of Apple’s newly launched iPhone 16 Pro have complained online about touchscreen issues. Swipe and tap are not working properly which is reported to disrupt various activities. News GSM Arena.
According to the news, many iPhone 16 Pro users with iOS 18 and iOS 18.1 are facing this problem.
The problem is said to be mainly due to the palm rejection algorithm. The problem is more common at the edges of the screen, especially near the camera control buttons. Touch on the edges is not working for some time, although licks on the screen are reported to work in other places.
Presumably, this is due to a software issue and Apple may fix it in the next software update.
