Artificial intelligence (AI) firm OpenAI recently appointed AI Professor Zico Coulter to their Board of Directors. He will also play an active role in the Safety and Security Committee – where he will be joined by CEO Sam Altman. News Reuters.
According to the news, Zico Coulter, Director of the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States is also working as a Chief Expert at Bosch and Chief Technology Advisor at Gray Swan. Prior to that he also worked as the Chief Data Scientist at C3.AI.
According to OpenAI’s blog post, Coulter in 2023 was instrumental in developing automated methods for security evaluation of Large Language Models (LLM).
