Several workers at the Singapore office of ByteDance, the company that owns the popular video sharing platform TikTok, have suffered from stomach ailments after eating food outside. At least 60 workers fell ill in that incident last Tuesday, 57 of them were treated in hospital. News BBC.
According to reports, health and food safety officials are investigating the matter. ByteDance is also investigating how so many people got sick at the same time after eating the food.
It is learned that the food that those employees got sick from eating was not cooked or prepared in their office rather was provided by an outside company.
