Md. Rahatul Islam, a student of Canadian University of Bangladesh’s EEE Department has received the MEXT Scholarship from Japan.
Rahatul Islam is one of the students who got chance in MEXT along with 138 other students from Bangladesh. He received a 2-year MSc in Human Intelligence Systems Engineering from the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology. The course will be from October 2022 to September 2024.
Mext is One of the scholarships for studying in Japan. It is actually MECSST. The term stands for Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Abbreviation is ‘MEXT’. MEXT covers all costs including tuition fees as well as for visa processing.
While studying at Canadian University of Bangladesh Rahatul received the Sarafat Chowdhury Merit Scholarship in 2019. He was the founder and president of the Robotics Club. He has also organized many workshops for the EEE department and has been a trainer for the RoboTech Leadership Program.
