From the very outset, Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) has been working relentlessly as a central trade body for the BPO service provider organizations in Bangladesh. Eight sub-committees have been formed with a view to enriching the emerging BPO industry of our country while meeting the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The arenas that the sub-committees are concerned with are-Local & Global Market Development, Public Relations & Publication, Member Services & Development, Training & Skills Development, Youth & Women Empowerment and Research.
In an effort to facilitate fruitful and effective co-ordination among the sub-committees, “BACCO Sub-committee Strategic Planning & Discussion” was arranged on 3rd September, 2022 at a conference hall in Banani. The Chairmen and co-chairmen from each sub-committee shed light on the objectives, scope of work, ongoing projects and future plans regarding their respective sub-committees at the conference.
At the conference, Mr. Wahid Sharif, the honorable president of BACCO articulated, “An association needs to chalk out a specific workplan and then function as per that plan in order to reach its desired goal. Not only BACCO; in a larger sense, the whole BPO industry could attain the desired objectives if the workplans are implemented successfully by the sub-committees.”
The honorable president Mr. Wahid Sharif, General Secretary Mr, Towhid Hossain, Vice President Mr. Tanvir Ibrahim, Joint General Secretary Mr. Tanzirul Basher and Finance Secretary Mr. Md. Aminul Hoque ornated the conference with their valuable presence. Mr. Abu Daud Khan, Dr. Tanziba Rahman, Mr. Kowser Ahmed, Mr. Musnad E Ahmed were present from the director panel of the Executive Committee. Honorable advisor Mr. Ahmadul Hoq and all the chairmen, co-chairmen from the sub-committees were also present. The conference was conducted by Mr. Towhid Hossain, the General Secretary of BACCO. He expressed his gratitude to the chairmen and co-chairmen of the sub-committees for their impeccable efforts to strengthen the executive committee to a greater extent.
