The 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair -DITF is underway at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal, near the capital city. To ensure visitors can commute to and from the fairgrounds safely and conveniently, the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of the Ministry of Commerce has signed a memorandum of understanding with the global ride-sharing platform Uber.
Under this agreement, Uber, as the official mobility partner of the trade fair, will provide special promo codes to Uber app users through EPB. Additionally, dedicated parking facilities will be offered to support this initiative.
The partnership was formally announced by Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Trade Advisor, and Md. Anwar Hossain, Vice Chairman and CEO of EPB.
Uber Bangladesh’s Country Head, Nashid Ferdous Kamal, stated that visitors can collect special promo codes from Uber-branded booths or through Uber’s official Facebook page.
