Chattogram Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has renewed its agreement with Nagad, the mobile financial service of the Bangladesh Postal Department, to facilitate seamless digital bill payments for its customers.
The renewal ceremony was held recently at the Chattogram WASA headquarters in a simple yet formal event. On behalf of Nagad Limited, Administrator Muhammad Badiuzzaman Didar and Director at Bangladesh Bank signed the agreement, while Chattogram WASA was represented by Deputy Managing Director (Finance) Mohammad Lal Hossain (Joint Secretary). Senior officials from both Nagad and Chattogram WASA were present during the event.
Officials from both organizations congratulated each other, emphasizing the significant role this agreement will play in improving the quality of life for residents in the port city. They expressed optimism that such initiatives would further integrate essential services into digital platforms, making transactions and service delivery more convenient for the general public.
