The Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has expanded its advisory committee, formed to assist the administrator in managing its operations, by including four experienced professionals. With these additions, the total number of committee members has increased from 11 to 15.
The newly added members are Syed Mamnoon Quader, Managing Director of Southtech Limited; Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of Buildcon Consultancy Limited; Fida Haque, Managing Director of Suryamukhi Limited; and Raisul Kabir, CEO of Brain Station 23 PLC.
On Monday, the names of the new members were announced through an office order signed by Dr. Muhammad Mehedi Hasan, the recently appointed BASIS administrator.
The advisory committee was initially formed on Sunday under Section 18(2)(a) of the Trade Organization Act, 2022.
