After over five years since its establishment, DigiBanglaTech.news, the country’s only bilingual science, technology, and youth-centric lifestyle new media platform, has received recognition as a national online news portal. The portal is published by Saiful Islam Siddique.
This announcement was made in a letter issued on Monday by the Press Section-1 of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The letter, signed by Deputy Secretary Masud Khan, also granted approval to ten additional portals, four of which are published outside Dhaka.
The newly registered Dhaka-based portals include Bangali’r Khobor owned by Md. Mahbubul Baset, RailNews24.com by Mehedi Hasan, SabujBangla24.com by Fazlur Rahman Julfikar, NewsFlash71.com by Muhammad Shamim Reza, SunNews24x7.com by MM Ruhul Amin, and KhoborSangjog by Sheikh Nazrul Islam.
Among the portals published outside Dhaka are Lakshmipur24.com, owned by Sanaullah from Lakshmipur; Cox’s Bazar Kantho.com, published by Jashim Uddin Siddique from Cox’s Bazar; Juger Chinta24.com, owned by Abul Al Morsalin Babla from Narayanganj; and DhakaArthiniiti.com, published by Dr. Muhammad Fuad Hossain from Ashulia.
