Grameenphone, the country’s leading telecom operator, has launched an innovative package called the ‘Probashi Pack’ tailored specifically for Bangladeshi expatriates. This marks the first customer-centric initiative aimed at addressing the unique needs of expatriates, which had not previously been included in the scope of telecom services. The package is designed to cater to the connectivity demands of expatriates, offering a validity of up to five years and various exclusive features to empower Bangladeshis living and working abroad.
With this package, customers can keep their mobile numbers active while abroad, enjoy unlimited incoming SMS without any additional charges, and receive critical OTPs (One-Time Passwords) for online banking, financial services, and apps like Google and Facebook. This ensures that customers can seamlessly access essential digital services, maintaining an uninterrupted connection to the digital world. The package also includes an internet bonus of 3GB or 5GB, which can be utilized during their visits to Bangladesh.
To avail of the offer, customers need to recharge BDT 994 for a three-year validity or BDT 1,494 for a five-year validity.
Mohammad Sajjad Hasib, Chief Marketing Officer of Grameenphone, expressed pride in introducing this unique service, stating, “Grameenphone is proud to be the only operator to offer such an exclusive service that allows our expatriate customers to stay seamlessly and digitally connected. This revolutionary initiative reflects Grameenphone’s commitment to customer-centric innovation. It not only enhances the service experience for our expatriate customers but also creates a digital bridge that enriches their lifestyle and strengthens their connection with the homeland. Through the Probashi Pack, we aim to provide the best customer experience so that expatriates can remain connected to their country and enjoy modern communication facilities wherever they are in the world.”
He added, “Our goal is to ensure that expatriates can maintain effective communication and stay connected to what matters most to them, no matter where they are.”
